We get Tate Georged more than any team in America.

“i don’t know about you guys, but i didn’t even flinch when that buzzer three went in. expected it.”

    Honestly, I did too.

gashouse you might want to go ahead and turn the TV off now

GAWolf – Ah…. yeah, I completely agree. A win against top 10 Duke in the season we were to be last in the ACC would be tremedous. If it was a win, it really could be a stage maker (as long as we don’t get cocky… one place NC State shouldn’t be).

Wow, Carolina almost last in standings while UVA is first. Crazy season so far. I like it !!!

We definitely need to work on our “last second, miracle shot” defense.

Maybe they used up their quote of buzzer beaters already.

As for the offensive rebounds, we’re either making our shots or turning the ball over, so there aren’t many for us to miss.

tjfoose – how do you do that? Hire Sendek’s priest and get in the goods with the Big Man?

Carolina sucks, and they suck bad. They aren’t going dancing this year, you watch.

JeremyH, I totally agree. It’s when good things happen to the Pack that I’m surprised.

plywood, seems like i’ve seen this scenario before

  12. MrPlywood 01/20/2010 at 9:52 PM #

Not sure any State fan can complain about last second shots since the Pack won a NC that way…

  13. BassPacker 01/20/2010 at 9:53 PM #

If Carolina finishes last in ACC standings, makes me yearn for the Les Robinson Invitational part of the ACC tournament. How I would love to humble the Tarholes with the play in game.

i can complain because i have to re-live it every year

Damnit, Plywood. That really connected the Karma-Dogma dots for me.

Not that I want to admire Nolan Smith’s shot, but give the guy credit for knowing exactly how little time was left. He didn’t have a nanosecond to waste, and he did everything to get himself in position to shoot that shot knowing any wasted motion would cost him. How many players, not just on our team, wouldn’t be that cognizant of all that?

And, yeah, we probably need to do something different on Singler or he will torch us in the second half.

Do you consider zone? That worries me with their 3-point shooting aresenal. But they appear to be off so it might be a good idea to try it once or twice.

    Just sayin…

Nice first play to get Wood involved.

  20. Class of 2009 01/20/2010 at 9:57 PM #

Start it out with a 3pt foul shot…… good, good, good.

  21. BassPacker 01/20/2010 at 9:57 PM #

    Wood comes out firing !

  22. MrPlywood 01/20/2010 at 9:57 PM #

NIce way to get Wood started

  23. Rick 01/20/2010 at 9:58 PM #

    Good start

  24. BassPacker 01/20/2010 at 9:58 PM #

Least we come out with a spurt instead of Dook.

Someone in the forums was saying Duke is having an issue with fouls. Hopefully they get frustrated and make a few of those bad fouls.
