We’re about 2 hours away from kickoff, and we can expect to see two things today – (i) a whole lot of offense; and (ii) a Wolfpack win. I’m not confident that we will beat the mammoth spread, but I am confident of a victory. Which is an especially good thing today, given that a loss would pretty much spell the end of NC State’s bowl hopes.
Also on the plus side of the ledger, NC State’s next opponent (Boston College) looks like absolute crap in Blacksburg. Two close wins and two blowout losses lead me to believe that the Eagles have a glass jaw. Get on them early, and a decent team should coast to victory. 2-1 is really the bare minimum record for the Wolfpack going into the tougher stretch of the league slate – assuming (as I do) that a bowl game is the minimum threshhold for a successful “bridge” season to 2010-12 ACC contention.
We will be discussing today’s game in real time here. We’ll see you in the forums!
