Anthony Hill |
The Texans’ complemented their current pass-catching tight end (Owen Daniels) with Anthony Hill who was considered by some to be the best blocking TE in the draft. Hill joins Wolfpacker Mario Williams on an improving club who went 8-8 in one of the toughest divisions in football. The Texans offense finished in the Top 10 last year despite an injury to starting QB Matt Schaub, so the club appears to be filling defensive holes with their other picks in the draft. | |
Andre Brown |
Andre Brown was drafted by one of the NFL’s stronger teams in recent years. NFL.com said: “Brown is a steal at this point in the draft. He really made a name for himself at the Senior Bowl and flashed outstanding skills. He’s got receiving talent and gives the Giants a great replacement for Derrick Ward.â€Â The Giants chose UNC-CH’s Hakeem Nicks in the first round. Had the Giants not drafted Brown, he could have been chosen by the San Diego Chargers just five picks later. |
