russellwilson21Good news on the football (and baseball) front via GoPack.com:

[NCSU QB Russell] Wilson, a first-team All-ACC performer, suffered a tear of his posterior cruciate ligament late in the second quarter [of the Papa John’s Pizza Bowl] and did not return to action after halftime. He had passed for 186 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 46 yards prior to the injury.

The injury will not require surgery. Instead, Wilson will be confined to several weeks of limited activities, followed by functional rehabilitation.

It sounds like Wilson will be back at full strength for football it’s not clear whether he’ll be back to 100% by February 20th, which is when NCSU will face Rhode Island in its baseball season opener.

    I doubt you’ve seem him play at all.

    Four at the Doak and four more on TV. And since you’re so concerned about all of this, you should have no difficulty whatsoever telling me what YOU have seen from Wilson that makes you believe he’s anything more than a light-hitting middle infielder?

    Or maybe you can tell me which scouts said that Wilson would be a high draft pick? Alpha Wolf kept talking about them. I assume since you’re SO involved in this that you MUST know their names.

    Does anyone know how RW’s scholarship is put together? Is it a football scholarship, a baseball scholarship or a mix? That might affect his future too.

Noah is always on the board and slams NCSU athletics more than any Baby Blue I know, at least they admit they Tar Heel fans. Noah just won’t come out of the closet.

    Noah you claim Wilson is an average at best middle fielder. Why don’t you tell us which scouts said that? I doubt as usual you can back up that comment and we will not hear from you?

    Nope, can’t back that up. That’s why I never said it. I said he was a “light-hitting middle infielder.” Since you appear to be a novice when it comes to the English language, let me go ahead tell you that by that, I do NOT mean, “Russell Wilson swings at sunlight.” I mean, “Russell Wilson lacks power.” And just to clarify your undoubted confusion, “middle infield” is a shortstop or second baseman.

    Were there any other words you needed help with? Do you always drink this early in the day?

    I have no IDEA what scouts say about Russell Wilson. That is why I asked Alpha Wolf to tell me which scouts he was talking about and WHAT they actually said. The only thing I saw was a roundabout claim from Elliot Avent who then claims that scouts told him something….I don’t care about that. What’s the scout’s name? What organization says that Wilson is that high on their board?

    The rest of your post is typical bullshit that we can see on every thread. “Noah’s a tarhole because he spends all of his time on state boards”

    Do you always drink this early in the day? Or this is a permanent condition with you?
