Election Day Diversion: John Murtha, the Wolfpacker / Did Fowler & Vaughn-Myers forge Barry O’s birth certificate?

Murtha

As you can see from the Wolfpack sign above, the evidence is pretty over-whelming.

Maybe the curse of NC State will finally work for all of our benefit and will result in this stain on humanity losing his seat and drifting off into obscurity. Maybe Murtha and Tom Daschle can find somwhere to play some shuffleboard together. Iran maybe?

In other shocking election day news, it appears that WorldNetDaily has finally found Obama’s ‘lost’ birth certificate. But…look at it carefully (below). It appears to closely match Lee Fowler’s report on NC State Athletics that was leaked to the public by “oldtrenchfighter” on Pack’s Pride’s message boards. Coincidence?

    This talk of “I’m going Libetarian” is hilarious. My brother in law and I were channel surfing when we ran up on the Libetarian Convention on CSPAN. It was like observing a high school reunion that only the geeks and rebels with out a cause showed up for.

    Ok, that was idiotic, but not as bas-akwards as the microsoft Excell they were rocking on the projector to fire up the faithful.

    Wulfpack, I have to agree with just about all of your points. As a matter fact your words about McCain’s campaign, are almost exactly the same as what I said to my co-workers this morning. The one thing I disagree with though, is that Barrack Obama is in office for the reason of CHANGE, a huge change all around for sure, but he has his overpowering victory due in major part to his predecessor in the White House.

    I will grant that Barrack Obama ran a good campaign, that he is an articulate and gifted spokeperson, but…

    “Obama is a transcendental figure. The task at hand is enormous. However, I wouldn’t put anything past him judging by what he has already been able to accomplish in such a short amount of time.”

    A little premature don’t you think? All of the labeling and the sainthood, I mean. You stated yourself that there wasn’t much competition in the election itself, so besides all of verbage involved in that one campaign, where are all of these great accomplishments for Barrack Obama? I’d love as much as you, for him to compile one in office, it’s just that right now I don’t have any lists to refer to in order label him anything except a great spokesman.

    Fred,

    Ask an African-American if he is transcendental to them. Even Condeleeza Rice said that Obama was “inspirational.” The why is as plain as the color of your skin.

    As one black person said to me today: “the Preamble to the Constitution begins with ‘We the People.’ Obama proves that we are finally part of that ‘we.’ Folks like my grandparents lived through segregation and they never thought they’d live to see the day.”

    I was a bit stunned, but when I thought more about it, I could see exactly what his point was: that Barack Obama is transcendental to a lot of folks because he is now living proof that even the highest and most powerful position in the free world is open to us all.

    That’s a pretty significant accomplishment in my book.

    If you want a good illustration of a) the ignorance of the American voters and b) a major problem in the RNC, look at the recent relevations from Fox about Palin.

    – She didn’t know that Africa was a continent (she thought it was a country);

    – She didn’t know who was in NAFTA (US, Canada and Mexico…ever heard of them, Guv?);

    – She didn’t prepare at all for the interview with Katie Couric, and

    – then threw temper-tantrums afterwards.

    When you come in second in the gravitas category to Katie Couric, you probably don’t belong on the national ticket.

    Let’s just solve all the problems and say you have to pass a test administered by the Doc in order to run for office or cast your vote. 😉

    Noah,

    Don’t leave this election year behind with out this Youtube.

    Around two and a half minutes the topic of the foreign leader(s) of Canada come into play. Listen to the names made up and then “since he is so close to you, the Prime Minister of Quebec..” If there actually was a PM of Quebec one could argue that an Inuit crossing broken ice chasing reindeer might call AK to QC close.

    Actually Murtha has the qualifications the leaders of NCSU want in an AD. He insults his own constituents by calling them rednecks and racists and our current AD insults his own school’s fans by calling them a lunatic fringe and ignorant for questioning his bad decisions. Perhaps Murtha has had secret talks with Oblinger about replacing Fowler and is showing he has what it takes to be our new AD!

    Don’t laugh. I’d actually like to see it required that even native-born Americans had to pass the citizenship test before they are allowed to vote, or to have given service to their country.

    Robert Heinlein put forward that idea in the novel “Starship Troopers” but was called a fascist for his troubles.

    New WH press secretary is NC State graduate Robert Gibbs.

    If there is anything that makes me feel better about McCain’s losing so badly, it is the way he pandered to his political handlers. It was a typical Republican-run campaign, with them showing that they still have no ability to communicate their own candidate’s postitives. So they take the easy road, the low road, and trash the opponent for months and months on end. The way the campaign was conducted already had me swaying anyway, and if the campaign had gone on for much longer with McCain further demonstrating that his backbone is now the consistency of jello, I would have either changed my vote, or abstained.

    As far as Palin, not her fault, she was plucked up out the minor leagues, and then used and abused in the worst kind of way. As far as people voting for her specifically, I’d say those numbers are probably much less than, but still somewhere in line with those on the other side, who would have voted specifically for a Joe Biden, without Barrack Obama.
