    The even have an NFL RB player who rarely played at UNC called Willie Parker.

    Terrance Holt was inexplicably cut by the Panthers, and Lamont Reid missed the cut in Denver this year, otherwise we’d have 21 collecting an NFL paycheck.

    The Panthers cut him supposedly because the other backup safety candidate could play special teams. That sounded strange to me, because I always thought that was Terrence’s highest and best use!

    I think they cut him because he was more expensive than the other guy.

    UNC has still never had a QB take a snap from center. They’ve only had two QBs ever make a roster. Baker and Scott Stankavage.

    You forgot that UNC had the QBs Ronald Curry and Deems May make a roster. Oh wait, you mean be a QB in the NFL…

    And Scott May still thinks he’s ready to play in the NBA! The pictures that I’ve seen lately closely resemble the current Charles Barkley!

    How about that catch Holt made in the end zone this past weekend. Wow! he’s a special player and a class act. I hope he makes it to the Hall of Fame one day.

    In unrelated news one of UNXs football verbals, NC WR, tore his ACL this past weekend. Kid out for the year will have surgery from what I hear. Be interesting to see if Butch holds to the offer. I suspect he won’t. Bet Butch will show his true colors and I hope all the NC high school coaches take notice. The boy is a great kid except he a die hard UNC fan. I hope he still plays on Saturday next year. Schools like Tenn. ND and others had been calling but he had committed early.

    willie parker doesnt count as an ACC player in the NFL becuase he wont acknowledge that he ever went to UNC, “Willie Parker … Clintin High School”
