ppf23 – what is the process for student tickets these days. When I was in school, you just went to the window and picked up tickets and you also had a block seating option (that was awesome.)

I think they should adjust the year by year allotment for student seating based on the average for ACC home games the year before (I’ll give ’em not showing up for Wofford). Wasn’t this past weekend fall break?

I’d guess maybe 20% of the student body is willing to show up at basketball and football games, given a ticket. There is maybe another 20% representing the bandwagon who would show up if we are top 20, getting a lot of media buzz, etc. Will be interesting to see how much student attendence is up this year at the RBC…the end zone sections were pathetically empty for many of the games I have attended over the past 4 years…

Student ticket allocation is done through a lottery.

There is a request period where people submit a request for tickets, then there is the lottery where tickets are assigned randomly. Then there is a claim period and after the claim period, unclaimed tickets are returned to the pool for distribution on a first come, first serve basis.

There is no physical pickup for tickets. They’re printed by the student after being claimed.
