And the poor just keep getting poorer…

I have zero answers for this football team. It’s over.

As well as Eugene ran the ball today in the absence of brown and as poor as our o-line pass protection was, it just goes to show you how much more important it is to recruit quality linemen and linebackers than it is to recruit skill positions (with the exception of QB).

maybe Dre can take this chance to get things straight in the classroom and come into the spring hungry and ready to be a senior leader next year.

A big loss, Eugene is a solid back, but he won’t have any help now. Hopefully Underwood can step up and take some reps. I heard Tony Haynes mention moving Blackman, I think he could provide some help, and we do have some depth at WR.

just wanted to say that…as tough as the game was today, i thought we did pretty decently CONSIDERING EVERYTHING that happened to our team prior to 3:30pm today. The defense was alot more active, shut down the run, there were some terrible calls that cost us 14 pts directly (2 terrible calls in a row actually) and the offense can definitely move the ball as good as the FSU defense is.

As has been said, the OL i thought played marginally better, but its hard to go anywhere but up at this point. Do we play a defense as good as FSU the rest of the year? Evans/Beck we should all just pull for whoever is in there. I don’t think u can chalk it all up to a bad line though…there were many poor decisions today though.

The rest of the season will be about moral victories, improvement in stats, closer margin of loss, if fewer turnovers can be committed, which young guys are gonna get playing time for next year’s preparation and how they do game to game…and of course what we do against UNX and EZU.

Anyone posting here ever watch NBC’s “The Office”? I think CTC must have come from the same PA area that Dwight Schroop hails from. We have been shunned, and the only way to reverse it is to be unshunned.

Sorry for the nonsense everyone else, I have only some humor and a few strands of hope left to make the dissapointment go away.

Seriously hope all goes well for Andre Brown. He seems to be a good kid and a talented, hard working athlete.

Rochester, I thought I saw the OL come to likfe alittle in the first half too. I wonder looking back at it if it wasn’t just all the screens and draw plays we were running and the over aggressiveness of FSU D. Once they made the necessary adjustment it turned into a trench war and….you guessed it, the real BCS level lineman got the better of us.

Only our bad luck in injuries tops the bad draw in scheduling. What’s the deal with all these BCS (former 1 AA) teams we have to face?
