10 Points Against Louisville (UofL 29, NC State 10)

The Cardinals’ secondary has been burned on long passes all season. So what does the Wolfpack do? Come out throwing short slants, screens and bootleg passes to the tight end in the first half. Go figure.

Hell, I’m actually older than noah? Never would have guessed that. Can you imagine how crotchety we will be when actually old men?

Fun fact from this week’s print Wolfpacker – Pierson is actually the second fastest player on the team. Runs a 4.32 forty.

  2. noah 09/29/2007 at 8:14 PM #

I’m 34 (I had to stop and count…I’m trying not to remember these days)

#9 wisconsin, despite winning, should still drop (even w/ other top 10s losing)

  4. BJD95 09/29/2007 at 8:15 PM #

Well, we’re actually tied then. in baseball age, I’m 7 years past my physical prime. That’s the way I think of it.

A lot of coaches who won started slowly. And some bad coaches won early and faded quickly. Mack Brown won 2 games in his 1st 2 years.

Kushner at TE is worthless as tits on a boar. He has butter fingers on rock hands. I think at 6’5 265, he could make a decent left tackle, however.

    Move him there.

    ^OK, don’t use ‘pound signs’…

Read: 9 Wisconsin should drop despite winning– they suck (basically)…

  8. Dr. BadgerPack 09/29/2007 at 8:18 PM #

    I feel young suddenly… I’m a meager 30… by 6 days.

  9. BJD95 09/29/2007 at 8:18 PM #

    Did the stupid Phillies lose?

  10. noah 09/29/2007 at 8:19 PM #

Yep…4-1, I think. It will come down to Willis and Glavine tomorrow.

    More to come

    Points? Unlikely

    Comments? Why bother?

    UVA 27
Pitt – Nowhere close to 27

  13. Dr. BadgerPack 09/29/2007 at 8:27 PM #

Pitt sucks… ever since Tyler Palko?? graduated… or is he still there?

QB never really matters at Wisconsin– the offensive line gets 8-9 wins a year… they dig up 300 pound linemen like they grow on dairy farms or something.

    Maybe TOB should recruit dairyland…

    yes…no football lifer here.
our church had it’s once-a-year Big Wing-Ding today.
i missed the whole game (even radio).
the Pack must have missed the ball.
    several times.
    simple CTC discipline.
    sorta like the alcoholic’s DT’s.
first year off the juice is the worst.

  15. Dogbreath 09/29/2007 at 8:29 PM #

-14 in the turnover margin through 5 games. Pathetic.

9 knee injuries (how many more today?). Unbelievable.

  16. DT44 09/29/2007 at 8:30 PM #

    ACC will go 4-1 vs. non-conf. today…

  17. noah 09/29/2007 at 8:36 PM #

    Is FSU beating Alamaba?

  18. wolfonthehill 09/29/2007 at 8:37 PM #

Thing is – we should’ve just thrown deep jumpballs all day. Anyone who’s watched Louisville this year knew that. They can’t defend it.

Apparently our coaches are the only individuals in the United States who actually HAVEN’T watched Louisville, and who DIDN’T know how to exploit the glaring weakness that they have. Too bad – we would’ve had a chance…

  19. VaWolf82 09/29/2007 at 8:40 PM #

14-7 FSU with the ball and 5 minutes to play

  20. VaWolf82 09/29/2007 at 8:41 PM #

Make that 20-7 FSU with extra point attempt to come.

  21. Dr. BadgerPack 09/29/2007 at 8:44 PM #

^wolf… it’s hard to go deep without being able to sell play-action or even establish anything remotely resembling a running game…

not to mention, you can’t throw deep off your ass in two seconds

  22. noah 09/29/2007 at 8:45 PM #

I saw a lot of deep balls in the first half. Of course, none of them landed anywhere near a receiver.

  23. BJD95 09/29/2007 at 8:55 PM #

Beck is much better on the designed rollout. He’s still not GOOD, but definitely better.

I can say with confidence that this is the worst OL I have ever seen at NC State, and in my estimation, it’s only the SECOND biggest weakness on the team (think LB is even more glaring).

  24. tractor57 09/29/2007 at 8:55 PM #

And how deep can a receiver get in a couple seconds?
We have some serious line problems (O-line and D-line both).
The O-line problem isn’t new – we are just seeing the full effect this year.

  25. Dr. BadgerPack 09/29/2007 at 8:58 PM #

Like I said… recruit dairyland… OL’s grow around troughs there apparently (spelling probably wrong)
