McInnis and (MR) Ford Reunited (and it feels so good)

The North Carolina Charlotte Bobcats have resigned former Tarheel point guard and well known thug, Jeff McInnis to a one-year deal. McInnis will therefore be reunited with another Tarheel point guard, Assistant Coach Phil Ford.

I don’t think that we need to really say much about the beauty and the irony of this situation?!

We also have no information to what kind of car that McInnis currently owns and therefore do not know if he has driven a Ford lately?

A real love triangle for the Triangle. If they had kept it to the Big 4 — it would have been swinging.

That was a great Ford pun.

    Other good news for UNC…

“Junior defensive back Cooter Arnold has been suspended indefinitely from the team, a North Carolina official confirmed Wednesday morning.”

alright butch! lets see, recruit players clemson rejected, have some of your top recruits not qualify, and now a suspension. lets hope this continues so we can here about how “clean” carolinas program is and how “dirty” state program is.

I’ve been joking about the irony of this for several weeks. MJ’s model may appeal to a lot of the Baby Blue fans, but doesn’t do anything for me at all as far as going to their games.

Wonder if Buzz and MJ are going to “room together” again? My understanding is that Buzz is not very excited about sending his kids to Charlotte-Meck schools and is looking to find a home outside of the area.

Didn’t NC State have three recruits who did not qualify. UNC had two. When you consider the powers of the SEC including S. Carolina had anywhere from 7-10 I am not sure this necessarily proves anything.

speaking of, and not trying to start a big argument, but how is Herbs 08 recruiting shaping up? it may be an interesting thread for future conversation, but i know how the herb debates often go down that same road.

So why are you trying to start another one?

sorry, like i said you can delete the posts i was just curious as to how his 08 class is shaping up. I feel like i can have a mature conversation discussing Herb, but some can not. so that was the reason for the trepidation in asking

“lets hope this continues so we can here about how “clean” carolinas program is and how “dirty” state program is”

No one with an informed opinion will say O’Brien runs a dirty program. maybe dipsh*t rival fans, but no one with a real voice. as for carolina, i wish there was more media coverage about their seemingly new approach to recruiting over there, but it’s not like there’s been much coverage about ellis or linney not qualifying either. recruiting seems to be a little-discussed topic in the traditional print media, until signing day that is. football commitments are generally reported by the high school sports writer (in the paper), who gets like two columns a week.

Oh! that’s just cold. Funny. But cold.

“Driven or “Have you rode” a Ford lately may be more like it~

    Herb sucks.

There, that should end any speculation as to the maturity of this audience.

highstick: just about every intelligent parent wants out of
the CMS system. it’s full of gangs. worse than Durham.
noah: you steal $50…that’s over the felony threshold.
    i steal $40…still a class 1 misdemeanor.
    figuratively speaking, that is.

I’m well aware of the CMS system, that’s why I stayed well south of it when I relocated.
