Today is a sad day for all parts of the ACC. It hasn’t hit the major media outlets yet, but it appears that Skip Prosser passed away this morning from a heart attack. (link to story.

    Trivial question: Why did Sidney get the small picture in the N&O?

    More than trivial question: Why was the first part of Lowe’s statement, “My thoughts and prayers are with Coach Prosser’s family and Wake Forest University.” edited for the quote?

    When I first read it, before I had seen the full quote, I was sort of bothered by its brevity and lack of thoughts for the family. THe UNC and Duke quotes came across as much more personal and heartfelt – feeling I was sure that Sidney shared.

    It is easy to see bias if you are paranoid, but this is too obvious. I will also probably burn in hell for bitching about this on this thread.

    maybe the n&o gave more space to coach K and coach williams because they’ve been in the league longer and know him better than coach lowe? did that ever cross your mind? sid was an nba guy who just finished his first year coaching in the acc. there is a reason other area fans make fun of state fans for being paranoid of the media, and it’s stupid observations like yours, gopack 968, that perpetuates the myth that all state fans are irrational and have a stepchild syndrome.
