Dominick Mejia is a Sr. for Drexel. Remember him?

  2. beowolf 03/11/2007 at 8:40 PM #

I don’t think that’s enough time, frankly. I’ll be surprised if they come away with a win. Likely Engin won’t play.

  3. McPete 03/11/2007 at 8:40 PM #

and it looks like drexel hasn’t played a game since March 4. not good.

No way we have anything left for a 5th game in 6 days in what is, in all honesty, a meaningless game compared to the all the emotions of the ACC tournament. I would be shocked, but pleasantly so, if we win. I hope if we lose that our fans aren’t stupid enough to badmouth the team.

I too am scratching my head on Clemson as a No. 1 seed. I can’t see them lasting long.

The Tuesday date is kind of a disappointment. I hope there isn’t too much of an emotional letdown after this weekend.

I am exhausted after WATCHING them play 4 games in 4 days. can’t imagine how they feel.

I’ve been to games at Drexel and that place will be rocking. Very tiny gym, loud and hot. I’m sure they feel snubbed by the NCAA Selection Committee. They had a great year. Bruiser Flint and Sidney Lowe going head to head, ought to be fun to watch (I hope, if it’s even on tv).

It’s on Tuesday at 8 pm.

    ^^^^^

I’m not sure how anyone questions which team will show up Tuesday…

Hmmm. We played in The Super Bowl vs The Evil Empire in our 4th game in 4 days. So, for our 5th game in 6 days, we travel to play a no-name Drexel team in the “kiss your sister” tournament…

Gee, I don’t know, sounds like a pretty big letdown to me…

If they skipped a week and let the guys rest, this would be great practice preparation for next year, similar to going to one of the lesser tier bowl games.

As it is, this will probably be a short and worthless trip on the road to play a team that is pissed off and ready to take it out on a big conference team led by a player who will be extra motivated when he sees that NC State jersey…

I just heard Bruiser on the radio. He’s ticked at not getting into the Big One, much less getting into the NIT as a 3 seed. It will be a tough game for the Pack, but what a great learning experience either way. These guys have come so far in a short amount of time, and I refuse to underestimate State.

    Go Sid!

off subject ,sorry but has anyone seen the crap theyre saying about us on the tarhole chat line.after being pissed off for a few minutes after the game I realized what a great run we have had and great of a game I just watched. So all day I have felt so much pride for our program and where its headed.Ive been thinking about how much respect both fans must bee having for each program after such hard faught battle by both sides. So I decided to see what nice things where being said about us on the tarhole chat line I could not believe the disrespect and crap the are saying about us so now I am just as pissed off as I was just after the game ended.

wolf 97, unless you’re studying proctology, I’d advise staying away from that compendium of assholes.

Wolf97, ANYTHING remotely ASSociated with tarhole will taste like like chicken and smell like sheep. Yes, that sheep, the one the farmer has had his eye on.

WTNY, we’ll see whose all shits and giggles then….
Drexel is gonna be a TOUGH out 48 hours later I’ll be surprised if we can muster enough to compete for 40 minutes. Emotional and physical drain must have been tremendous. Of course Drexel could be a bit out of rhythm for the 9 days off. But I doubt it.

  23. Dan 03/12/2007 at 7:58 AM #

    Did Fordham make the NIT?

  24. Oh Ohhh 03/12/2007 at 10:50 AM #

Is Mike Gminski (sp?) blogging here? If I hear someone mention physical drain one more time I will explode. I agree with an emotional drain but these kids are still in their teens and are used to playing everyday plus there is a TV time out every 4 minutes plus team timeouts. We will be fine physically (except for Engin’s leg).

Just need Gavin to take care of the ball and everything else will be fine.

Looking forward to this week and next year.

Vitale calls Drexel the biggest snub of the NCAA tournament.

Congratulations to Sid and guys for a great effort this year and the ACC tournament. I was so proud of this team I was only upset for about 30 seconds after the game yesterday because the team did an amazing job but just came up a little short. Unlike previous years where the effort of the salaried folks on the team, not the desire of the players, was lacking.

Great job this year and I hope the Pack can go out and hang NIT championship banner.
