    That is some goooood stuff!

Someone stated in an earlier thread that our offense (of late) looked alot like WFU’s in that game against Clemson, I was thinking the exact same thing. I have to believe we have better talent and athleticism (and IN PLACE NOW) at pretty much every position on offense and D. The offense now allows the athletes on D to play aggressively without the burden of holding on for dear life anymore.

Now, just keep adding clips like the BC game and the ones above, carry them all with you on Nov 11th and play them just before the game. Then watch as this team marches out onto Frank Howard feeling like they own the place.

Miami and VT aren’t where they should be, wins over BC and FSU already, WFU and GT at home, this is shaping up. Not counting any eggs, but this has definite potential!

Way off topic, but is anyone even guessing about Tuesday’s press conference?

    It’s quiet…too guiet…once again!

Is this fun, or what?! I don’t think there is any way to overstate the impact the crowd had Thursday night. I hope we can keep the intensity up the rest of the season. I know the team fed off the fans and I know Florida State was intimidated by it. We were the Wolfpack Nation for 3 hours or so and we be BAD.

^I had a few glasses o vino at dinner, but I think we can roll and put people away early on. We just need to keep pressing the issue and not let up for all four quarters. And yes, it is fun as hell!

Awesome! I was on the sideline Thursday night and all I can say is that it was awesome! I stood there watching an incredible game, and at one point in the fourth quarter I stopped, and looked around. There I was in a fully enclosed stadium, every fan on their feet (which seemed to be the case for the entire second half), and the noise was truly deafening – and I thought “this is it, this is what it’s supposed to be like!” This is what State Football should be – the biggest, loudest, proudest program in the state of North Carolina! I stood there with about a dozen pro scouts, bowl scouts, and prospects. I will tell you, they were all seeing the same thing I was! Folks, I don’t know what decision the prospects made, but put yourselves in their shoes at that game, in that stadium, with our fans – like I said – awesome!

And whether people like it our not, whether they want to admit it our not – it’s all in large part due to Coach Amato. Thank you Coach for what you’ve done with for the program, the stadium, and especially for the last two games – two of the most memorable in my long history as a State fan.

What a great weekend for State football. The FB team really stepped up, Amato was quite gracious in his comments after the game (nobody believes he never listened to the rising tide of criticism (comes with the territory). Evans is already a hometime hero even if the pack falls on it’s face the rest of the year (that I seriously doubt). It seemed to me all they were missing was the right fit at QB and I think that has been solved.
Rivers also has a real coming out party last night.
Of course this could all change in a week – such is the attraction of college athletics.

red^^ i am nervous as hell about tomorrows presser, it could be a paradigm shift in the make-up of our bball team for years to come… wright and hickson, come on down to wolfpack nation!!!! If wright is as good as they say he is, we could be back in the tourney as early as next year

You are right. To be very honest I am surprised we are where we are in both the Wright and Hickson scenarios right now.

I am hoping with everything I have that one, or both, will be proudly wearing RED not too far down the road. But in my mind it would not be a set back with regards to the program if they are not, just that more time will be required. If either is persuaded to come to Raleigh it just means that there is a staff in place who is already accomplishing against all odds.

My fear is that for some reason, and only now, is that there are people out there unreasonably expecting a complete turn around immediately, and that they will see it as failure if we don’t get at least one of these guys.

That is wrong. This now, skeleton of a basketball program, is just starting to turn back around. If unfortunately these particular kids aren’t part of it, there will still be top talent out there, even more interested, in the next crop.

    Bo

Chuck still has the dreaded #1 beside his name, but suddenly Bunting has soared up out of nowhere to take over that spot. It takes some big time convincing to get those media jerks to move on anything even remotely linked to the boys in powder blue.
