En Fuego Friday

Folks — we’re going to be on FIRE today with a barrage of entries. En Fuego!

With this said, we just wanted to direct you to PLEASE take the time to scroll down through all of the entries below this one and not just just focus on what you see at the very top of the blog. We will have some changes in the order of the entries below this and encourage your continued participation in some of the conversations. Additionally, if you have friends and other contacts that need to be turned on to StateFansNation then today would be a good day to shoot them an email and ask them to come give us a look at what over 30,000 unique visitors a month already see. While you are in that mode, feel free to help us out with this request if you have 30 seconds.

Thanks so much!

I have not seen any references to the http://dontfirealgroh.com page, but they had a pretty funny article on Sunday entitled:

Groh Rope-A-Dope Being Adopted By Nearly Entire ACC

Coaches all around the Atlantic Coast Conference are adopting Virginia Coach Al Groh’s strategy of feigning total ineptitude in the early season in an effort to lull late season opponents into a false sense of confidence. While Groh has flawlessly spearheaded the effort, somehow managing to make his talented Cavalier squad look like a junior high school third string, coaches such as Chuck Amato of North Carolina State and Larry Coker of Miami have enjoyed similar success by mimicking Groh’s innovative technique. Only the stodgy conservative Frank Beamer has failed to take advantage, instead tipping his hand by allowing his Virginia Tech team to appear competent.

Overall…it is a pretty funny site making fun of UVA/Al Groh.

I am a long suffering Jets fan. It was a happy day when Groh left New York for C-ville.

^^^ Laddie, there were few things more enjoyable to me than watching Groh’s post-game press conferences with the Jets. I figured his next stop would involve padded walls, not Hoo-ville.

Well, T Bowden doesn’t seem to feel any need to fit in among the stuffy ACC blue nosers. Up 35 and still putting it in the air. Whoops make that 41, now 42. Good for him, and the whole Clemson program! If you got it, let it shine, and every time you hit the playing field.

    Go Tigers!

    8:00pm- GO WOLFPACK!!! GO EVANS!!!

This could possibly turn out to be one hell of day!!!???!!!
