    A question: What did Fowler do that was wrong? Or better yet, are you happy in the end with the result? I am quite pleased that he a) swung for the fences with Barnes and Calipari, and b) went with Lowe instead of a loser like Greg Marshall when the big guys said no.

    Keep in mind, it took about 33 days, not 3 months. Just because so many of us obsessed about the search does not mean he did it wrong. Sometimes it’s better to not watch what the cook is doing and just enjoy the meal.

    SFN: It is nice (and naive) that you have this perspective…but, this is ferociously simplistic view of the process and of Fowler’s execution of the search. At this moment, there is just no reason to go through all of the things that he did wrong.

    Lakita’s correct about the end result. However, Fowler should have fired Sendek 5 years ago when Barnes and Calipari were more attainable. In any case, I’m very happy to have Sid on board, even if he were not the first choice.

    Seems like LF has a nearly 6 year history of ‘foul-ups’, but everything is fine because we won an ACC Championship this year.
