Whomever ultimately fills NC State’s Head Coaching vacancy may have an extra scholarship available to use as the news just keeps getting worse.
N.C. State sophomore Cedric Simmons will enter the NBA Draft, sports agent Kevin Bradbury said Tuesday.
Bradbury, a Chicago-based agent with BDA Sports Management, said Simmons will test the draft waters before signing with an agent, leaving the door open for a possible return to N.C. State next season.
“He has not signed with us,� said Bradbury, whose clients include N.C. State’s Cameron Bennerman, former North Carolina guard Raymond Felton and former Duke guard Chris Duhon. “As I understand it, he’s going to declare for the draft and go through the workouts. If he doesn’t like what he hears, he will go back.�
