One thing that kills me is it see all these HUGE Carolina fans who did not/will not go there. Especially all the Duke fans who have no connection at all with the school (no relatives who attended), yet they worship Duke. Everyone wants to be on the winning team..

Hey if they were “reasonable” why would they wear Easter Dress Blue, and pick a sheep for a mascot.

The significant portion of killa wuf’s post:
Calipari tours Raleigh campus with assistant coaches
    (Updated: April 10, 2006, 8:59 PM ET)

Memphis coach John Calipari, who has been in negotiations with the university about increasing the value of his current contract, visited North Carolina State with his staff Monday, a source close to Calipari told ESPN.com.

The source said Calipari and his staff boarded a private jet to Raleigh on Monday afternoon to look at the Wolfpack’s facilities. Later in the day, the source was told that the coach and his assistants were touring NC State’s campus and were planning to fly back to Memphis on Monday night.

    tvbman-HMMM.

I guess those media types can really get ugly at Hurricane games.

  8. cam 04/10/2006 at 9:08 PM #

They are cool other than that.

But for some reason it’s the arrogant statements that really crack me up ever since Herb left. I love the fact that Carolina fans go out of their way to walk up to me and say something about what’s going on. It’s like… well.. the good old days. They’re truly squirming and as a result they’re being extra abnoxious. I missed it. Didn’t realize it, but I’ve missed it. Laugh at them and they cannot stand it. It’s big fun.

That same friend that I wrote about will watch a game and talk like UNC is the greatest thing since sliced bread and as soon as they start to struggle a little he calls them a bunch of bums. He was whining about losing to George Mason and I told to shut the fuck up because he didn’t no jack about dissapointment. State fans are true and loyal and our time is long overdue!

Best news from the FOX article……

“However, Calipari has told those close to him that he’d like to get out of Memphis.”

Yeah, when they loose they crawl back into the woodwork. Its ALWAYS been that way.

  13. Wolfpack_34 04/10/2006 at 9:10 PM #

    ^^ Exactly!!

However, the answer the guy gave was more surprising. The security guy told the caller that he was instructed to clear out all the media that may be in the parking lots.

Lights are now on at the RBC Center….they have been off for OVER 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting, but I can’t imagine the facility would impact the final decision much. Can’t be a deal maker or breaker. I hear Fed Ex Forum is very nice, but geez, a big raise is nice too.

tvbman are you at the RBC?

  16. cam 04/10/2006 at 9:11 PM #

that is true, but what makes it even worse for me is that Even Though I am a huge state fan all my life, I actually went to ECU, so you know I know dissapointment. and please don’t give me 2 much hell about me going to ECU.

  17. packwolf90 04/10/2006 at 9:11 PM #

I just called the security at the RBC…..asked if Calipari was in there and the guy said he couldn’t answer any questions at this time. He’s in there!

BTW guys….my UNC friend grew up across the street from me. I glad he’s a UNC fan because it’s good fun having somebody to pick on.

  19. skicarib 04/10/2006 at 9:11 PM #

WOLFPACK_34, correct – I made a lifestyle decision years ago to only discuss, debate, rib, bet with UNC or Duke fans that actually went to the respective school. It’s a farce, and life’s too short, otherwise

  20. NeverGiveUp 04/10/2006 at 9:12 PM #

Ask him if he can answer questions after they leave?

  21. Wolfpack_34 04/10/2006 at 9:12 PM #

Carolina fans are allways like..yeah I like to pull for state when they aren’t playing us, and oh I want to see Herb do good. Lets start beating them. They won’t say that anymore.

  22. GAWolf 04/10/2006 at 9:13 PM #

I’m pretty sure we could take a moment to all learn the difference between “lose” and “loose.”

  23. NeverGiveUp 04/10/2006 at 9:13 PM #

I think we all agree UNC SUCKS

  24. Jacques_Strap 04/10/2006 at 9:14 PM #
