Calipari Visited or Not?

Coach Cal might not be back next season to coach the Tigers. The Eyewitness Sports team just uncovered John Calipari and his staff visited Raleigh, North Carolina Monday, to look over North Carolina State’s facilities.

Guys, a little decorum please. There’s still plenty of time for things to go bad but:
    1) If Cal bails now he’ll never get approached by anyone ever again (well not ever again but folks will leave him alone).
    2) I think if he is making a personal visit that he more-or-less made up his mind because it is such a risky professional move on all fronts.

I really hope Calipari likes what he sees in our facilities.

That flight data is very, very speculative, IMO.

no personal visits…if he is coming its for a press conference ho

If he gets on a plane it’s a done deal. He won’t come for a tour just to say “never mind”. If he is already here then there will be a press conference in the morning.

our facilities are top notch, what could he find wrong with them, besides the fact that their is currently an ice rink set up in the RBC Center. does anybody know what went down in the team meeting today (if there was one)

Yea I think he has pretty much made up his mind. The only thing I would think could change his mind is if he sees something he really dosen’t like, but I am sure he woun’t. We really have nice facilities, actually great facilities. Hope that will seal the deal. I also hope they have the basketball court down so he can really see the rbc center like it will be when he is coaching. Should’t be that hard for them to do.

I am a heel fan, but i hope you get Cal. He will be good for the ACC. But, with the change in style of play, you are probably 2-3 years away from the NIT. Like it or not, this is the reality of the change. He will bring your program to the level you want. I do not believe GOD could beat UNC and K on a regular basis, but Cal will make it very interesting. Good luck in getting your man.

they better take up the ice rink quick if they want to keep him from turning us down.
