Calipari Visited or Not?

Coach Cal might not be back next season to coach the Tigers. The Eyewitness Sports team just uncovered John Calipari and his staff visited Raleigh, North Carolina Monday, to look over North Carolina State’s facilities.

It should be noted that I didn’t say I would piss on myself, just that I would piss, myself.

“Moments like the almost palpable stillness in the air whenever David Thompson leapt through the sky.”

The greatest player to EVER put on a college uniform. I dare anyone to challenge this. (what am I thinking this is a NCSU board).

N27XP made a last minute change and landed NOT in Chapel Hill, but at RDU!!!! I really believe he is in town.

Absolutely. We have enough talent on this team to compete immediately with a quality coach.

how are you all tracking this flight?

  8. Chip 04/10/2006 at 8:27 PM #

Are there two different flights? On Statefans Flightaware.com is tracking one MCM and one Autoparts flight both landing around 8:05 right? But the autoparts flight in Raleigh and MCM in Chapel Hill?

    My head is spinning.

    Am I reading this wrong?

  9. tvbman 04/10/2006 at 8:27 PM #

On the website you track flights, you can look at the flight log and radar. On the radar, it shows that the plane made a change to the east and landing well east of the marker for the airport. To confirm, check the flight log and see the latitude and longitude coordinates. The final coordinates match most flights coming in to RDU.

Not to look too far, but if everyone stays the line up will be even better in 2007-8.

cam – “but do you not agree with the players we have we could be good, I mean most of the time a coach needs a few seasons to get “hisâ€? guys in, but sendek had some athletic guys just didn’t get all he could out of them. I have seen tapes of fells in high school, and this kid can fly, him and grant on the wings could be fun to watch.”

No doubt they will be good in any system! I often felt like maybe Herb was holding them back before.

I should have said….we won’t be a top ten team until those parts get into place. however, I don’t concede to prevailing wisdom that we can’t have a “Herb-like” year where we are middle of the conference and competing for an NCAA bid right away (especially with Cal).
