WPC Brochure For “The Red Zone”

In this week’s Triangle Business Journal, there was an insert for the “Red
Zone”. The “Red Zone” is the marketing name for the NEZ expansion.

This may be old news, but I had never seen this brochure before. You can

Couple notes of interest:

  • The coast of each seats will be $2,500
  • There are 5,356 lifetime rights available
  • There are 1,628 for the students and band.under Red Zone amenities:
  • “video access through one or town new state of the art video boards”
  • new concession stands
  • “four family and handicap accessible restroom facilities
  • new women’s restroom facilities
  • red chair back seats with cup holders

      ….now you can buy a permanent cheap seat, forever having a poor view. “Let’s put lipstick on the pig and foist it off on these stupid hillbillies”. Good marketing.

      thanks for putting up that RedZone brochure on your site. I’ve been waiting weeks for that and the WPC keeps telling me it is coming. Good to see it has made its way out.

      As for the comment above, the “poor view” is a personal opinion. Some people like sitting in the end zone, as you can see running holes open up, WR’s cutting across the field, etc… Also, I’d much rather have a real seat with armrests so I don’t have to worry being squished in for 3 hours.

      I agree about the view comment. I chose to sat mid-way upstairs (as opposed to downstairs) for many of those same reasons – like watching the whole play from an angle that shows you things develop better.

      It’s just a matter of personal preference.

      I do not like the idea of being near the band. Even though they do not play much I think it would be annoying.
      I do wonder though if this year will effect the plans for the end zone. You have to think fan enthusiasm is waning some. Time for Fowler to have an interview that derides the fan base.

      I have a queston about the north endzone. Will the Jumbotron be elevated? Someone told me it can be jacked up to go higher?….Will the North endzone still sell out of we go 1-7 or 2-6 in ACC Conference play?….The product on the field isn’t acceptable to those of us who are paying by the nose for lifetime seats (I’m on the 40 yard line with $6,000 worth of seats plus the Wolfpack Club donations and buying the seats)…..We need Norm Chow and he needs to bring back Doc Holliday for recruiting and Reggie Herring back….THE NEW END ZONE WILL MAKE CARTER-FINLEY THAT MUCH MORE OF A SHOWPLACE!

      If they put Chuck’s image on the jumbotron it may need to be replaced! As to sellouts the rest of the season will determine what interest remains for this staff. Finally for what we need can you spell Butch Davis. If what I think now comes to be true we are going to need a proven big time name coach to put this thing back on track.

      I know that this may come as a surprise to you…but I haven’t totally thrown in the towel on this season yet. I can’t do that until our 6th loss. That could definitely come as early as the BC game…but, until then, I can’t bring myself to legitimately discuss potential future coaches. (Not as though it will matter with Lee Fowler at the helm, anyway.)

      Agree Jeff. I still, for some insane reason, believe we can win 3 of the last 4 games.
