The over/under on turnovers is 3.

We’ll probably have another season ending injury this week.

My guess- someone gets bitten by a radioactive green squirrel near Harrelson.

I was thinking of making the same joke.

I’m confident that against BYE, we’ll finally break our string of consecutive weeks turning the ball over for points.

  4. RochesterRedWolf 10/08/2007 at 2:12 AM #

is BYE still 1-AA or did they move up to 1-A this year?

University of Bye Week: Pack plays The Cycles.
bye-cycles. i gotta million of ’em.

Will the game be in HD?

  7. Astral Rain2 10/08/2007 at 8:39 AM #

    Only on 360

The real question is, Will we score more than 10 points against them?

  9. vtpackfan 10/08/2007 at 9:33 AM #

Will BYE kick off to Blackman or play some more of this trickery we’ve seen?

  10. LRM 10/08/2007 at 9:38 AM #

BYE shouldn’t be overlooked. They claimed Cal as a victim this week.

There is a town in West Virginia called “Poca.” Poca High School. Their mascot?

    Yep. The Dots.

Noah, what happens in West Virginia, stays in West Virginia.

  13. noah 10/08/2007 at 10:40 AM #

What happens in West Virginia….no one really cares.

  14. RochesterRedWolf 10/08/2007 at 12:23 PM #

what happens in WV is usually between family members

and it also could involve a banjo, fiddle, empty moonshine jug or old washboard as a musical accompaniment

  16. Otis 10/08/2007 at 12:59 PM #

Did some one say banjo and moonshine?

    “Astral Rain2 Says:

    October 8th, 2007 at 8:39 am
    Only on 360”

I knew Time Warner would take it to me again!

Be careful what you say about West Virginians…they’re hard to knock over, what with that eleventh toe and all. What are you going to do? Punch them in their….tooth?

The good news is that Oblinger has decided to open up the parking lot for tailgating 2 hours early for the Bye Week game. Also, word is that Fowler has ordered an extra supply of water in antipation of a record crowd.

1-11 guys unless we can catch a lucky break like Carolina did. I started to wonder if the Miami QB shouldn’t have been wearing a blue jersey. I think he forgot which team he was on.

By the way, I had a great time at the 40th Broughton HS reunion this weekend. I think there was a larger contingent of State grads there than Tarholes!

Guys anything can happen. Stanford was 41-point underdogs (how bad do you have to be to be a 41-point underdog?) and pulled off the upset. I like the Pack’s chances in this one. Of course it comes down to OL play and whether or not we turn the ball over 4 times. Seriously, if the Pack put a team on the field this week and played against no one, one of our quarterbacks (it doesn’t matter who) would throw an interception. Not to mention that certain O-linemen’s efforts would be indistinguishable from games where actual people play against them.

This is shaping up to be the best Bye team ever to travel to C-F stadium. With a little hustle and know how the big wigs could sell the rights and spotlight the game as the “BEST BUY BOWL”.

We will put our coachs bowl winning streak on the line and a Best Buy employee of the month could take on Lee Fowler in a Nintendo Wii game of his/her choice on the 50 yard line at halftime.

    State is ranked #10!!!!….

hey HighStick, happy class reunion fellow Broughton grad! 30 of my graduating class went to State, 30 of to crapolina. My 25th reunion is next year. We’ll be too slack to actually do anything about it.

Man, I wish I could think of something as funny as you guys are coming up with – cracking me up. Its sure nice to be reading SFN and laughing instead of crying into my beer.

A bye week was just what we needed.

  24. highstick 10/09/2007 at 10:53 PM #

I just don’t see how we can be ranked #10 when we’re favored to beat “Bye”! Can anyone explain!
